A modular condensate refinery in Tanjung Kidurong, Bintulu — leveraging Sarawak's premium feedstock and Honeywell UOP technology to deliver high-value refined products and secure regional energy independence.

The Opportunity

Strategic Import Substitution

Sarawak produces the gas, yet imports the fuel. With zero refining capacity, all fuels are imported via third-party terminals at a premium. The SCR solves this paradox.

Current — Value Leakage

Condensate extracted in Sarawak is shipped to Singapore or Peninsular Malaysia for refining, then imported back at a premium.

Future — Value Retention

SCR in Bintulu refines locally-extracted condensate for the domestic market — retaining value within Sarawak.
